Rev. Mel Norton:
Pastor Mel hails from Beals Island, Maine, where he graduated from high school in 1966. He then attended Bethany Bible College in Sussex, New Brunswick, graduating with a BA Religion in 1971, and Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts with his Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling in 1989. He became an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church in 1972 and has pastored Wesleyan Churches in Nova Scotia, Maine, and New Brunswick.

Pastor Mel is married to Sandra J. Norton (Seaman) and they are the parents of three grown children, Mel Kent, Gregory, and Heidi, and are the proud grandparents of two granddaughters. They are thoroughly enjoying pastoral ministry here in the heartland of New Brunswick's Bible Belt and the breathtaking beauty of the Saint John River Valley. You will find Pastor Mel's ministry to be touched with friendliness, warmth and passion.
